Hi all,
There has been an influx of new subscribers, so I wanted to say welcome (if you haven’t already, join me on my Youtube journey)!
If you’re new, I showcase interesting tech/marketing articles or content I’ve seen or read, sent to your inbox every once a week (or two). It took me a while to figure out how I wanted to structure these newsletters, and I think I’ve finally figured out a rhythm after a year of writing.
Anyways, here are this week’s interesting reads:
An interesting but slightly older read. Microsoft appears to be testing a new type of ad inside File Explorer on Windows 11, but this wasn’t technically meant to be revealed. Read here.
Google acquired a new company to potentially revive the Google Glasses project (I always thought these were a cool concept). Read here.
Samsung is launching yet a new foldable phone. They’re really trying to make this a thing (I’m not the biggest fan). Read here.
An AI algorithm has been developed to help predict risks of heart attack within a five year period. Read here.
This ‘acoustic fabric’ allows you to answer your phone through your shirt. Interesting concept - not sure how practical it is, though. Read here.

On the subject of reading, if you haven’t gotten the trial for Audible, I highly recommend giving it a go (especially for drives). Get a free trial here.
Finally, I’d like to give a shout out to my recent paid subscribers and older subscribers 😊
Jessica, Larry (for the annual subscription) and Shaw for the recent paid subs.
Also, thank you to Esteban for sticking with me for half a year, Berke (for the annual sub), Thiago (not sure what your name is), Albert for the yearly sub and the biggest thanks to Leah for the founding member subscription last year. All of you are why I continue to push on with this newsletter, so thank you.
Well, that’s it for this week’s issue. If you’d like to see any other content, you know where to reach me 😊
Cheers,
Richard
