For those who are new, I work as a senior marketing manager for a tech company (you can probably find me on LinkedIn) so I discover new things every day in my job. But of course, I execute a bunch of stuff for my own side projects and so wanted to share my Q1 learnings!

My Learnings on Youtube Shorts (Article)
I’ve always wanted to be a Youtuber. Starting really late to the party last year, I knew that breaking through even the 1K subscriber ceiling required a bit of luck and some strategy.
Shorts were around for a while but I knew there was still potential to grow with it. So I decided to do a challenge: Post a Short daily for 4 months straight.
Here’s a sneak peek of the results. Definitely got me over the 1K hurdle and I will continue to try new methods to grow my channel (link on the left if you want to check it out).

5 marketing skills every entrepreneur needs
From starting a side project to any startup, marketing is a requirement to getting your business off the ground. It doesn’t matter if you’re a star coder or a strong operator, if no one knows about your product, it’s not going anywhere.
So I wrote an article last year about some of the marketing skills that are required to be a successful entrepreneur.
Marketing Interview Experience: Google vs Amazon
I’ve been fortunate in my lifetime to have interviewed for both tech giants and even gotten an offer for one of them.
So I decided to make a fun little video below detailing my experiences with both. In short though, Google has a much ‘thorough’ process and is, in my opinion, a lot harder.
